To Eat in China
Between the language barrier and my eating habits (I’m a vegetarian), trying to eat in China was an adventure on its own. Deciphering what the food was based on the look, and my very few written down words, I managed to feed myself, but the biggest take away for me was the beauty of the experience.
Food is such an important cultural experience of traveling, and although I know I miss out on a lot of local dishes and specialties, I always try to find a way to stick to the local food, and taste the local cuisine.
