TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY

  • Deposit: Non‑refundable. However, you may transfer your booking to another person if they meet all requirements.

  • 50% of total due: Must be paid 120 days before your booked photography session or workshop. Non-refundable at this stage.

  • Remaining 50%: Due 60 days before the event. Fully refundable up to 30 days prior; no refunds after that.

  • Refunds: Any refund issued will incur a 3% processing fee.

  • Cancellation by Samanta Katz Photography: In the event of insufficient enrollment (e.g., private workshop), your full payment will be refunded. Notification will be given at least 30 days before the event.

  • Travel Insurance Recommendation: Clients are strongly encouraged to purchase travel or cancellation insurance for any personal expenses (e.g., flights, accommodations), since Samanta Katz Photography isn’t responsible if you can’t attend.

2. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

  • Samanta Katz Photography and all associated personnel act solely as service providers and are not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in services, travel, accommodations, or activities.

  • Costs or delays due to force majeure events (e.g., extreme weather, strikes) are not the responsibility of Samanta Katz Photography.

  • Participants assume all risks related to photography sessions and associated activities.

  • All travel, accommodation, and participation expenses are the client’s responsibility.

  • For any injury concerns, clients should obtain medical advice before booking.

3. IMAGE RELEASE

By participating in a photo session or workshop, you consent to being photographed or filmed by Samanta Katz Photography or fellow participants, and agree that these images may be used for promotional and social media purposes, without compensation.

4. ONLINE SERVICES DISCLAIMER

For any online photography courses or digital workshops:

  • You attend at your own risk and assume responsibility for any injury.

  • Samanta Katz Photography is not a medical professional; always consult your doctor prior to starting any physical activity.

  • You agree to release Samanta Katz Photography and affiliates from any liability, claims, or demands arising from participation.

5. PRIVACY POLICY

  • What we collect: Name, contact info, payment details.

  • Use: To process bookings, send updates, and improve services.

  • Cookies: We use limited first-party cookies (e.g., analytics); none for tracking beyond our site.

  • Third parties: We do not sell or trade your personal data.

  • Opt‑out: You may disable cookies via browser settings; however, some site features may be impacted.

  • Unsubscribe: Contact us at [your email] to be removed from our mailing list.

6. CLIENT CONDUCT & VALUES

By booking with Samanta Katz Photography, you agree to:

  • Approach the experience with openness, curiosity, and a positive mindset.

  • Be respectful of other clients, staff, locations, and equipment.

  • Follow guidance from session leaders. If your conduct threatens yourself or others, you may be asked to leave without refund.

  • Be accountable for any damage caused by you or your group.

  • Dress appropriately and respect cultural differences at locations.

  • Notify staff promptly of any issues so they can be addressed quickly.

7. DISPUTES & GOVERNING LAW

  • Any disputes will first be addressed through mediation.

  • If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the law and heard in the appropriate local court.

  • The prevailing party is entitled to recover legal costs.
