IG Live: How To Run A Photography Business
It’s almost the new year and after a 2020 full of unexpected and disappointing turn of events, therefore you might be questioning your business, or even wanting to start your own project in the new year.
If you have been toying with the idea of becoming a full-time photographer, then this might be a good place to start. I went live on Instagram to talk about what it’s like to run a photography business, how to find clients, what to charge, whether you need contracts, paying taxes, and a lot of other behind-the-scenes tidbits about my photography business.
I’ve been working as a photographer for about ten years and along the way I learn (often the hard way) many things that I hope I can save you from stumbling upon. I answered some questions that were sent days prior and gave a bit of my background story, but if you have any more questions or things you want to know about becoming a photographer, leave me a comment and I will be happy to get on that!
Starting your own business might seem like a daunting task, but I want you to know it’s not as hard as it seems. It’s a matter of figuring out your steps, and then just putting one foot in front of the other. You don’t have to do it all at the same time, as long as you can shoot, your business is already on its way!
